Our first to market Level 4 course in the use of dermal rollers, stamps and motorized fractional needling will provide you with the most comprehensive training available in the delivery of this versatile remedial skin treatment. It ensures practical competence and examines the indications for treatment, the inflammatory process and the physiology of the healing response initiated by the treatment for skin regeneration. You will learn the parameters of treatment for each skin condition and provide needling applications to the superfical papillary dermis.

This unit of study can be added onto your qualification. It is made up of a series of one-day short courses, seminars and workshops to provide you with the opportunity to learn from some of the most prominent practitioners in the aesthetic industry. It is designed to enable you to gain additional knowledge and insight into a wide range of subject areas not included in your level 4 course but which are of interest to your future career or business progression
Course Delivery (Theory Element)- Online audio visual presentations & course folder
Course Delivery (Practical Workshop)- Personal tuition on training models. You will work with a selection of needle lengths from 0.5mm to 3mm according to your principle qualifications. Your practical training will be delivered either at the Sally Durant Training Centre in Hagley, West Midlands or at the training facility of one of our training partners.
Course Assessment (Theory) - Online multiple choice questions and written assessment booklet
Course Assessment (Practical)- Observational and verbal assessment of consultation and clinical procedures, oral questioning to assess underpinning knowledge and understanding of skin health assessment and procedures. Written assessment of clinical documentation.

What certification will I receive?
The OFQUAL accredited CIBTAC | SALLY DURANT Level 4 Certificate in Micro-Needling - graded at pass, merit or distinction
Who is this course for?
- Medical Aesthetic Practitioners looking to extend their practice into advanced skin health care
- Beauty therapists qualified to Level 3 or above who are working, or wanting to work, in the medispa environment
- Level 2 qualified beauty therapists, who have completed our Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Skin Studies and The Principles of Aesthetic Practice
- Those who do not have a beauty therapy qualification but who have completed our full Access to Aesthetics Pathway
What makes this course different?
This is the first nationally accredited qualification in skin needling practice and offers a much broader spectrum of training than standard course provision. We cover all elements of the wound healing and regenerative cascade instigated by this treatment together with skin health assessment to ensure suitable treatment adaptations. We train you with the most up to date methods and equipment - dermal rollers, dermal stamps, and motorised fractional micro-needling devices - incorporating also the use of cosmeceutical mesotherapy agents for additional remedial effect. . Our principle is to provide you with the most comprehensive experience to enable you to select from and work with the different modalities of treatment.
How long will it take me to complete the course?
This is completely flexible but, on average , you need to allow 20 guided learning hours plus private study time for the online theory elements and one day for your practical training .
