Level 4 Certificate in Chemical Skin Peeling

A superior study and practical training in the diversities of chemical skin resurfacing and regeneration treatment.
This training programme will provide an extensive study of the underpinning knowledge essential for best practice in chemical skin peeling. In both your theory and practical tuition, you will cover a wide variety of different peeling formulations, procedures and adaptations to protocol to ensure well informed, and therefore safe and effective, treatment of all skin types. ​

This course is made up of two units of study: 

Unit 1 - Core Knowledge for Aesthetic Practice

Module 3 - Microbiology for the Aesthetic Practitioner
Module 4 - Infection Control in the Medical Aesthetic Clinic
Module 5 - Establishing & Managing A Medispa Practice
Module 6 - Assessment of the Aesthetic Client 
Module 7 - Intermediate Skin Science
Module 8 - Elementary Anatomy & Physiology for the Facial Aesthetic Practitioner 

Unit 4 - Chemical Skin Peeling

Module 2 - Peeling Agents & Formulation
Module 3 - Procedural Considerations & Practical Techniques
Module 4 - Peel Systems, Product Knowledge & Protocols
  
Course Delivery - Audio-visual e-learning,  2 days practical tuition and 1 day formative assessment

Course Resources - 2 x digital portfolios and  e-learning portal

Course Assessment - Online multiple choice questions, written assessment booklet, case studies, mock examination and final CIBTAC theory and practical examination

Duration - This is completely flexible but, on average, you need to allow 50 guided learning hours plus private study time, case studies and assessment completion

Certification - The OFQUAL accredited | SALLY DURANT Level 4 Certificate in Chemical Skin Peeling -  graded as pass, merit or distinction.
