Level 4 Diploma in Chemical Skin Peeling & Micro-Needling
This is a baseline course for aesthetic therapists and medical practitioners addressing the fundamental requirements of the HEE curriculum framework and National Occupational Standards for the provision of skin rejuvenation treatment by chemical peeling to the stratum corneum and micro-needling at dermal papillary level.
The combined units of this course provide you with a fully compliant qualification in preparation for industry self-regulation and JCCP Registration. It is unique in its thorough approach to all the elements of study and skill acquisition and will prepare you fully for progression to compliance at Levels 5 and 6 in these specific treatment genres.

Course format
This is a three unit course incorporating the following:

Module 1- Working in the Aesthetics Industry
Module 2 - Legislation & Clinical Governance
Module 3 - Microbiology for the Aesthetic Practitioner
Module 4 - Infection Control in the Medical Aesthetic Clinic
Module 5 - Establishing & Managing A Medispa Practice
Module 6- Assessment of the Aesthetic Client
Module 7- Intermediate Skin Science
Module 8 - Elementary Anatomy & Physiology for the Facial Aesthetic Practitioner

Course Delivery - 15 modules + 2 days practical tuition and 1 day formative assessment

Course Assessment - Online multiple choice questions, written assessment booklets, assignment, case studies, mock examinations and final CIBTAC theory and practical examinations.
